Multimedia Journalist
I am a Central Florida based Multimedia Journalist who graduated from California State University, Dominguez Hills, with my Bachelor's degree majoring in journalism.

I worked as a staff writer for The Union, the El Camino College newspaper, then later as a contributor to Warrior Life Magazine, the El Camino College magazine. Throughout my time at the Union and the Bulletin, the CSUDH newspaper, I grew my skills as a writer, reporting on a variety of topics from sports to the arts to crime on campus.

I was awarded "Breaking Breaking News Story" as well as the Jolene Combs Memorial Award for Journalism Excellence by The Union for my reporting on vandalism on the El Camino College campus.

I interned at Compendium Magazine, the CSUDH Communications Department Alumni magazine where I refined my technical skills in editing programs such as Adobe InDesign, redesigning and reimagining magazine layouts.

Through multimedia journalism, I aim to tell stories that are impactful and relevant. I want to tell diverse stories about music and the unique artists who are changing the world through their art.
